Jazz Fusion
A combination of jazz, rock, funk, and rhythm and blues. Jazz fusion often includes improvised sections.
Afrobeat
A combination of highlife, African rhythms, funk, and jazz sounds. Nigerian musician Fela Kuti created Afrobeat.
Reggae Fusion
A combination of reggae and other musical styles. Reggae fusion has become a regular part of dancehall music.

Colours
Even colours can be fused in order to make things unique, for example this obey artwork uses a very muted colour palette, but with a very bold cherry red, which makes it pop out a lot more.

As you can see here, this mosaic is made with different coloured rocks in order to achieve a unique and bold appearance (which leaves the emotion of the piece up to the viewer).

Time Periods
Back to The Future 3
BTTF3 has Marty McFly and Doc Brown go to the Old West, where Doc Brown falls in love with a local schoolteacher from that time period. This mixes time periods really well, as they have to adapt to different norms, and because the DeLorean is kept under wraps for most of the film, you sort of forget that they are not from that time period, apart from Marty's unsuspecting knowledge of the future.

Genres
Grease
Grease is a mix of four different genres, musical, comedy, romance, and coming-of-age, and it shows all of those throughout the film, which is why it is also one of the more influential pieces of media in the late 70s.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a fantasy, mystery and comedy film, which has the basis for the film in the title: it's a mystery regarding the person who framed Roger Rabbit for murder. This film was also a pioneer in the genre fusion in media, as the cartoon/realism mix worked very well while not interfering with the mood that wanted to be given for the film.
Space Jam

Space Jam is a very good example of genre fusion. Similarly to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Space Jam mixes cartoons with real figures, like Michael Jordan as the premise for the film was after Michael Jordan's retirement, he is abducted by Bugs Bunny from the Looney Tunes group and is asked to play a match to defeat the Nerdlucks, a criminal alien group led by Swackhammer.

Dragon Ball

This was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard the theme of fusion, as the characters in the Dragon Ball TV Series do a special dance to fuse bodies with one another. This in turn fuses the unique parts of themselves, such as their hair, hair colour, face, voice and even clothes.
