THE RENAISSANCE IN SPAIN
Plateresque Style
It was developed in the 15th century and first quarter of the 16th century
The style gets its name from very detailed decorative patterns.
Which are reminiscent of the work of blacksmiths and silversmiths.

Was representative of the reign of Carlos V when the classical approach of the Italian Renaissance was followed

In the 15th century there waas the Flamboyant Gothic style was popular.

This style is named after the architect Juan de Herrera and is associated with one of his building projects: the Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial
