ways to treat Alzheimer's/Dementia: Try to keep a routine, such as bathing, dressing, and eating at the same time each day(Alzheimers.gov). Also, can use medcine such as memantine.
How expensive is it to manage Alzheimer's/ Dementia?
$27,672 per patient annually, with long-term care being the most costly component. Annual costs for informal care are estimated to be $10,400 to $34,517 per patient(Rice et al.).

Ask for help when you need it.
Join a caregiver support group.
Take breaks each day.
Spend time with friends.
Controllable risk factors: Not smoking, not drinking too much alcohol, and eating a healthy balanced diet(Alzheimer's Society).
The MIND diet features vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables; berries over other fruit; whole grains; beans; nut(National Institute on Aging).
