As an insurance adjuster, Ms. NR can fulfill some of her work obligations remotely, however she will likely need some way to travel to inspect on-site investigations of claims. Under the ADA, accommodations due to her disability can be made to her employer as long as they do not create undue hardship (difficult and/or expensive); modifying her assignment to be accomplished remotely would likely fulfill these requirements as part of a part-time, telework schedule, however individuals covered by Ms. NR’s insurance company are under no obligation to make their private properties accessible to Ms. NR should she be using a wheelchair (ramps, lifts, etc.), so on-site visits may not fall under this new schedule
