Customer preference for online shopping. Having customers prefer online shopping raises competition with e-commerce giants like Amazon. Leadership must focus on having an online presence that's user-friendly and effective for customers.
Demand for personalized shopping experiences. This requires leadership to come up with different marketing strategies based on the data recieved.
Economic
Inflation (impacting customer spending). Target has to maintain competitive pricing while maintaining profit. This requires leadership teams to be innovative to come up with cost-saving strategies.
Supply chain interference because of global economic instability. Economic instability causes delays and, in some circumstances, increased costs. It is crucial for the leadership team to optimize supply chains, coming up with strategies in investing in local sourcing and logistics.
