In regards to diversity in the workplace, there are multiple economic factors that either assist or hinder diversity in the workplace. While having a diverse workforce often creates economic benefits, the state of the local/federal economy greatly influences diversity. Some examples of this are cost of living, job availability, and employee turnover (Kerby, S., & Burns, C, 2025), just to name a few.
