PLASTIC PRODUCTION PROCESS - Coggle Diagram
PLASTIC PRODUCTION PROCESS
BLOW MOLDING
□High volume production of bottles
□Rotating molds around a wheel
□Heat , forming and cooling simultaneously
BLOW MOLDING PROCESS
□ Combining continuous extrusion and molding
□ Inflating within a mold using air pressure
□ Cooling and solidifying the shape
INJECTION MOLDING
□ Produces plastic parts
□ Materials are melted and injected into mold
□ Materials solidified when mold is cool down
EXTRUSION PROCESS
□ Pass through a heated region of machine
□ Plastic is melted and force through a dye to create continuous shape
PET BLOW MOLDING
□ Bottle are created in test tube shape
□ reheat and blow into final shape
BLOWN FILM
□ Produces thin plastic
□ A very thin die opening often fed by multiple extruder, faces upward into a round shape
□A tall , thin continuous bubble is produced vertically by this process and cooling flows upwards.
□Dropped back down and placed into rolls or converted into popular film products
