- Use meteorological forecasting and other predictors to anticipate dengue outbreaks.

- Integrate dengue control measures (gutters, storage, cooling systems) into city planning.

- Ensure timely cleaning to prevent clogging and stagnant water accumulation.
- Ensure mosquito-breeding-free water collection practices (e.g., clean water storage tanks).
- Promote mosquito-breeding-free roof gutters (clean and sealed).
- Ensure no garbage dumping and waste collection in abandoned or government-owned lands.
- Use of larvicide and adulticide under vigilant regulation by the Registrar of Pesticides (ROP).
- Issue dengue-related notices and take legal action against violators.
- Mobilize environmental police officers to enforce a dengue-breeding site-free premise policy.
