3. DIRECTION INDICATORS, ROAD LANES

PROHIBITION ON DRIVING ON SHOULDER OF ROAD, EXCEPT IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES
- Driving light motor vehicle on the shoulder of a public road is not permitted, however during the period between sunset and sunrise, you may drive on the shoulder of a road for one lane traffic in each direction, if you are being overtaken by another vehicle, and:
• If the driver can do so without endangering himself/herself, or other traffic, property, pedestrians on a public. (When you change a flat tyre).

DIRECTION INDICATORS
- Your vehicle may not be driven on a public road if is not fitted with flasher type direction indicators on both sides
- You are compelled to use the direction indicators when you turn to the left or to the right and when changing lanes.
- A light motor vehicle must be equipped with direction indicators, and
• Each indicator must have a light,
• Which when in use must show a recurrently flashing light that is clearly visible in normal daylight from 30 metres away to a person with normal eye sight
- Indicator lamps, when in use must produce white, yellow or ember light to the front, and yellow, ember or red light to the rear.
