It is an action that causes objects to move. It can make objetcs go faster or change direction

Contact forces
It happens when there
is physical contact with an object

Friction
It happens when an objetct moves against another solid object, liquid or gas and it causes resistence. It helps objects to
slow down
or
stop completly.

on top of a solid surface
Fluid friction
an object meets
a liquid or a gas as it moves
Non-contact forces
They don't need physical contact for an object to move.
