Part 2: The 4 types of parenting
4 main types: Authorirarian, Authoritative, Permissive,Uninvolved
Intro: A huge effect on the children's life
Authorirarian is a strict type with strict rules that cannot be discussed and punishments
Authoritative is still strict but consist of rule and consequences that can be discussed with the child but with limits
Permissive is more of a role of friend rather than a parent wich lets the child control his life but with some discussions when they are in need
Uninvolved parents are not even knowing what's happpening and only care about the child going to school and eating without help wich can cause parentification
Part 3: Extract of TV shows
Leave it to beaver or "Being a kid" is an extract of a TV show wich talks about Beaver's adventure with a bike that he won and put in front of a church but disobeyed to his dad that is still firm while and did not forget the fact he should have been at the movie theater the same day and not the day before like he did.
"Being a mum" shows a mother telling her daughters to clean the hoouse from toys before dinner but the elder sister was Bossy and shouted back showing disrespect . Then, Ritchie a solid and strong man came to show her how to educate them with more authority.
Conclusion of the Unit
We saw many points and types of documents all with one principal same idea wich is the fact of the relationships between alll generation but moreover parents and their kids through time in American families and aroud the world like here in Morocco.
