Magnetic field
a magnetic field is an area which surrounds a magnetic object that causes all other magnetic objects to feel a force.

when you put current through the wire, a magnetic field forms around it
since the current in the wire causes the magnetism, therefore you can turn the magnet on and off.

Gears
If a gear with more teeth is connected to a gear with less teeth, the second gear will spin faster
If a gear with less teeth is connected to a gear with more teeth, the second will spin slower
Gear direction
If a gear is spinning clockwise and another gear is added, the second gear will spin anti-clockwise and next clockwise and so on
