        After picking out her groceries, Kasey goes to pay, but realizes she's short on cash. Depending on what she has in her inventory, she can deal with it in different ways.

        Kasey leaves with her groceries, then finds that it's raining outside. She tries to stay dry by taking the alleyways home, but is interrupted by a slamming door and sounds of a struggle from behind the store. When she goes to see what's up, she finds the store manager dead on the ground, with the back door to the store left open. After a good amount of convincing from Mac, she begins investigating in hopes that she can uncover enough information to resurrect the woman.
        
        Investigation
        
        Kasey explores the alleyway, the store's back office, and behind the registers. Obstacles include her fear of dead bodies, the cashier still at the register, the security computer, the employee lockers, etc. Once she's learned enough, Mac guides her through the resurrection, but it revives Mr. Jellybean instead.

        Alley Scene
        
        After the failed resurrection, Mr. Jellybean recounts how he died and his relationship to the manager. Some dialogue ensues to establish his character and the new cast dynamic. Kasey is convinced to take Mr. Jellybean with her, then flees the scene before they draw too much attention.
