Plot
Exposition
Once in England william begins to immerse himself in British culture, adopting the local language, slang, and customs. His transformation becomes so profound that he legally changes his name to William Smith to fit in better with his new environment. The exposition concludes with William’s return to Indonesia during the semester break, where he faces the challenge of reconciling his new identity with his old one. He discovers that his immersion in British culture has caused him to lose touch and forgot with his native language and heritage, which sets the stage for his internal conflict and eventual personal growth.
Rising Action
William return to Indonesia for a break. His was exited to reunite with his family and friends quickly turn got confusion when he realizes how much he has changed, both in of his cultural identity and his language skills
Climax
After struggling with his abilty to speak Indonesian and feeling disconnected from his roots, he reaches a turning point when he understands the true significance of his cultural identity
Falling Action
William started getting lessons to learn Indonesian and how to appreciate Indonesian culture more, he even invited his friend Adam to do the same. They both started learning Indonesian and decide to stay in Indonesia for a little longer to help them practice talking in Indonesian with all the locals and how to appreciate Indonesian culture more
Resolution
William found that Indonesians culture should be appreciated more by people from his home country and realized that Indonesia was the only place he could ever feel at home. While living there, he had come up with many brilliant ideas and many of the ideas he came up with have become important inventions and innovations in technology and engineering. He is known as one of the most influential people in the world from Indonesia.
