The humans
The collective human race in the game all act rather similarly, extremely paranoid and unpredictable

The main characters come from a poor planet that struggles to maintain food and resources for its people
The main characters work for a mining company that go to foreign planets to collect minerals and valuable materials

The human world is much the same as it is now, taking place in the mid 2000s
The world is very much sceptical of alien activity and buys into fake, fear mongering details far too much
Theme
Scene takes place during the night, so naturally the setting is pretty quiet
forest sounds, like insects and birds
The scene has a very distinct blue hue to contrast with the lime green of the U.F.O and the orange of the human campfires
Tone is not all that serious, light-hearted while still having stakes and grounded character motivations
Characters are quite comical in nature, but take serious moments with the maturity that they deserve
The story is quite serious and urgent but the stakes are quite low, allowing the player to be at ease while knowing that there is still a looming threat
