There are software of input, process, output and store data.
This is called the Ipos diagram.
Input is a hardware that only sends data into to be processed E.G microphone and a keyboard.
Output is a hardware sends processed data out of a computer E.G speaker and a monitor.
Volatile storage is when you turn of the computer you lose the data .
Non-Volatile storage is when you turn of the computer the data saves.

Primary storage is storage closest to the CPU.
Secondary storage is the storage outside the computer called the external storage.
