It was decided that the conduct of the protest was 'Reasonable' and so the defence of lawful excuse was allowed as this complied with the ECHR
Whether the police restrictions on the obstruction were reasonable, in accordance with A10(2) and A11(2) of the ECHR
The fact only one side of the road was blocked and the matter that was being protested made this a 'reasonable' obstruction according to the UKSC
