When you're staying positive, instead of focusing and blaming the problem, you will seek for solution.

Staying positive will help you on your life journey, further expand your knowledge and abilities.
Not only that, it'll help you build up and reinforce your resilience and attitude on everything as well
Furthermore, staying positive will help you to create a more creative and comprehensive creation.
How to stay positive
Right in the situation
Don't force yourself into a situation where everything is helpless. On second thought, you should give yourself a little break as a "treat".
Instead of thinking negatively (e.g. I didn't make any progress, I don't have the ability to do this) think and be positive on the good things that you've done.
Outside the situation
Exercise (sport), to let the negativity out and hype you up, very sigma option to start the day.
Having a journal would also help, to reflect past experience and to express things that you are grateful for.

When a person criticize you, you should view it as a constructive feedback and an opportunity for you to improve
