What is Renaissance?
Renaissance is the period in which people from 13th-16th century started to get interest in Roman and Greek culture; Architecture, art, philosophy, etc.
The term Renaissance comes from the word Rebirth, it is means that you reborn because they got interest again in culture from many centuries ago
The word "Renaissance" comes from french. The first person to use the term "Renaissance" was the french historian Jules Michelet in 19th century.
It all started in Florence, Italy. People often refer to Da Vinci and Michelangelo as the fathers of the Renaissance
It emphasized 5 main things, Science, Art, Literature, Philosophy and Humanism, which will be talked about later.
It is refered to as the "Classic period", meaning they used classical technology and studied classical methods.
