Leaders need to promote cooperation to ensure all planning smoothly transformed into actions to achieve company’s goals.

Leaders should motivate and direct their subourdinates’ behaviour in a way that works toward common goals.
6.2.1 THE TRAIT APPROACH
This approach sees an individual's personal characteristic(s) as the main determinants of how successful the individual could be as a leader.
In other words, this approach suggests that leaders are born and not made as individuals are born with certain characteristics or traits that make them qualify as a leader.
Early researched conducted shows that comparing the traits of those who have emerged as leaders with the traits of those who have not and comparing the traits of effective leaders with those of ineffective leaders

- The Indifferent Style (1,1)
- manager use this style to preserve job and job seniority to protect themselves, and to avoid getting into trouble
- The manager's main concern is not to be held responsible for any mistake which result in less innovative decisions
2. The Accommodating Style (1,9)
- This style has high concern for people and for people and a low concern for production
- Managers using this style pay much attention to the employees' security and comfort, hoping to increase performance
- The resulting atmosphere is usually friendly but not necessarily very productive
3. The Dictatorial Style (9,1)
- Managers using this style find employee needs unimportant
- managers provides their employees with money and expect performance in return
- This styles is often used in cases of crisis management
4. The Quo Style (5,5)
- Manager using this style try to balance between company goals and worker's needs
5. The Sound Style (9,9)
- Manager choosing to use this style encourage teamwork and commitment among employees
- this method relies heavily on making employees feel they are constructive parts of the company
