Introduction
-Leadership can be defined using these three elements: elements: influence, individual, or group, and goal.
-Leadership in an organization mostly looks at how a manager works with subordinates to influence and direct them to achieve the organizations goals.

The sound style

- evade and elude
managers have low concern for both people and production
- use to preserve job and job seniority, to protect themselves and to avoid getting into trouble.

- has a high concern for people and low concern for production
- use to pay much attention to the employee's security and comfort, hoping to increase performance
- resulting friendly atmosphere but not very productive

- production-centered behaviour
- employee-centred behaviour
production-centered behaviour:
- focuses primarily on how well subordinate performing their job
- managers set rigid work standards, organised tasks down to the last detail, prescribe work methods to be followed, and closely supervised employees’ work

employee-centered behaviour
- focuses primarily on subordinates as people
- managers encouraged employee participation in goal setting and other work decisions and helped ensure high performance by inspiring trust and respect.
