How did the Jack the Ripper murders have an effect on modern policing techniques?
Introduction
What I aim to do
Look at the background of JTR - legal/justice system (why might this have made them fail to identify JTR, lack of knowledge, lack of technology)
Using different articles/documentaries/books to piece together just how much the modern legal system differs
Look into how our modern techniques would've been highly beneficial to JTR detectives and why this may be why they soon came up with new techniques after these investigations
Link how modern times have learnt from JTR mistakes and adapted accordingly
