- Identify the themes and main ideas by applying Reading Strategies (mention and explain).
The Hobbit
By summarising the Hobbit it seems that working together can help overcome challenges and obstacles.
By close reading, I can see Friendship and loyalty help play a big role in this big story.
Stop the Sun
By rereading Stop the Sun it seems that it is difficult to connect to someone who is impacted by trauma/PTSD

- Based on the Big Question, what do you think is the relation between the stories and our big question for this term?
In my, and Sam’s opinion, the relation between the stories that I had read with Sam is that in both of the stories they both have a problem that they need a resolution to fix, and in the stories we can see through character development and the lore, the resolutions come from their first actions and those resolutions are then used to help the problem which then comes with outcomes or effects. And so the relation is that What causes resolutions to happen is the main character’s first action/main action and then what the effects of those resolutions are what appears after the resolution like the ending or the outcomes of the action/story.
