titration
An acid-base titration is a neutralized technique where a solution of known concentration, TITRANT is used to determine the concentration of the unknown solution, ANALYTE
increasing the volume of an acid (by accident, past equivalence point) will increase the concentration of the base because the base appeared to be stronger to neutralize the acid
a few drops of water left in a burette can be significant because this small amount of water will dilute the base and decrease its concentration, so more base will be needed to neutralize the acid, making it appear as though the solution had a higher acid concentration

ENDPOINT: when you stop doing the titration based on colour change of indicator- not exactly the same as equivalence point because indicators do not change colour at exactly pH 7
