Ms. Morales Innovation Lab
The lab will have many Virtual Reality stations, where students can design objects in Virtual Reality before making them come to life. Students can explore concepts in physics, engineering, or art in an immersive environment.
A station with laser cutters will be available for students to allow for precise cutting, engraving, and etching of various materials (wood, acrylic, leather, etc.)
My space will have vinyl cutters and an iron on press machine where students will be able to make custom stickers, decals, and iron-on transfers for shirts, notebooks, water bottles.
There will be a podcast setup in the space to allow students to use it for recording podcasts, music, interviews, or sound effects. It gives them a platform for creativity to document projects or even story tell.
Having a green screen and video production set up allows students to create short films, tutorials or come up with videos for assignments. allows students to get creative and use special effects.

My design philosophy is to create an environment where students take pride in what they are creating no matter the skill level they hold. I want students to bring their ideas to life through teamwork and invention. Students need to know that you don't have to communicate your thoughts through a standard writing paper but they can create hands on projects and they hold the power to create what they want without anyone holding them back.
