learning Skill Super Fast
4 steps to learn anything with ex.
repeat cycle
Gaining Experience
learning Shooting. I need to first try to shoot.
Reflecting
I need to then analyse what went wrong and right.
Abstracting
I need to mark factors which I thnk should change the result.
Experimenting
I need to try again with changes in those factors to see result.
Skills type
Physical Skill
nee physical effort more. means practice more . training body more. and training mind to tolerate that strain of physical training
Cognitive Skill
more load on brain. as everything mostly depend on brain
Learning Fast
Theory overload
trying to learn fast by eperimenting with many factors at a time will overload ur brain and u will go slow instead of fast.
but if we go slow and take 1 to 2 factors at a time. once we learn that brain will take very leas resource to do that next time and we can again pick 2 new factors to experiment on. hence like this we can learn fast by going slow.
so always balance your therotical knowledge with practice.
more theory less practice will overload ur brain
more practice less theory inefficient learning.
once new theory become habit, accept new theory to practice
so make weekly plan and see if this week u have more time to practice then accept more theory othwerwise no.
generally an aaergae u can say if u have 5 hr of practice time than learn 1 hr of new therory.
but above average is wrong depend on skill complexity. so check how faster habits are forming of ur new theory. how to check. if things becoming easier and faster without compromise on accuracy and consistency then habits are forming and u can taken more new theory to consume.
how to read and remember efficiently
there are 2 stages - 1. consuming info
digesting info
remembering everything is not what we need.
it also doesnt mean we will be able to use all that info at the time of need.
we need to pay attention to both stages. for stages 1 consuming info lets categories the info. I use PACER. this is needed so that we consume info accordingly and then digest them asl accordingly
P- procedural. it tells u how to execute a particular thing. how to make golgappa. how to drive.
A- Analogous info- info which is related to what u already have prior knowledge about.
C- Conceptual info- if procedural is about how to do things. then this is about what it is. it includes facts and explanation. principles and theories. Most problem soolving use conceptual + procedural to solve.
E- Evidence/example. evience which prove the concept and make it more concerete. they are mostly facts. example. how principle of gravity wworks u might need to tell a experiment which was held by someone one some sepcific dates and some soecific items are used.
R- reference info- these info are not main info which we consume but are some facts which we might need doing in a spscific situation. ex. value of G =9.8 or something else. name of a diesease.
P- Procedural. it includes correct technique and and order of doing things. way to digest it is - practice as soon as u read it. here more practice will make u remember faster.
if u dont have time to practice right now. dont read it. move on to read something else. do something else. here reading without oractice is waste of time.
A- Analogous- After consuming the info make sure to do critique.
Critiquing is asking question to urself just after reading
how similar they are analogy and this new info?
how r they different?
in what cases the analogy doesnt make sense
is there a better analogy.
u can also use this on top of another category. example a procedural info can ocntgain some analogous info.
C- Conceptual - they are non linear info and need mind mapping to digest it. even expert who written the concept may write line by line in book. but in their mind its non linear. they can start at any part of that topic and present it numerous otherway depending on situation. for us also as begineer our job is to gather info on this . make a mind map with this and exiting mind map of relatable and linked to this current concept. all together we need to make bigger picture.
After reading this , take some time to map that in ur mind with other things. note it down somewhere.
analogous info also be part of this sometime and add to ur map in this.
balance of consumption and digestion needed here.
E- evidence/example: u should store and rehearse/reaccess it. as soon as u get it just store it. then at later point when u get time u reheasrese it. but when u store it dont go trey rmeebering it that time. just store in some docuement , notes or somewhere.
reheasing means- we think how we use this info. how we apply it it. which concepts this sis evidence of.
dont waste ur time memorize when u r reading it.
store it in fslh card, secound brain
secound brain system.
R- reference info- storing part is same as evidence.in doecument or flash card or secound brain. rehrarsal for this is just based on if u think its useful. otherwise just keep in=t in notes to use it when needed. if needed to remember, just keep to remember by practiccing that oarticualr suitutaion again n again.when time.
Anti Procastination Strategy
Phase 1: Awareness & Small Tweaks (Week 1-2)
✅ Set a “Novel-Only” Rule – Since you enjoy reading, allow yourself to read but set a boundary (e.g., no YouTube after).
✅ Introduce a “5-Minute” Rule – Before watching comedy/scrolling, spend 5 minutes on your goal (brainstorm lesson topics, research tools for online teaching, etc.).
Phase 2: Structured Progress (Week 3-4)
✅ Block Distractions – Use apps like “StayFocusd” or “Cold Turkey” to limit YouTube shorts.
✅ Set a 1-Hour Focus Slot – Pick a fixed time (e.g., after dinner) for working on your online classes. Even 30 minutes is fine.
✅ Make It Fun – If making tutorials feels like “work,” find ways to enjoy it—listen to music, make it visual, or gamify progress.
Phase 3: Consistency & Growth (Week 5-6+)
✅ Replace Passive with Productive Fun – Instead of watching comedy, listen to podcasts on education, spirituality, or teaching techniques.
✅ Accountability Partner – Tell a friend or post weekly updates on social media to keep yourself accountable.
✅ Rest Without Guilt – Set intentional relaxation time so you don’t feel the need to escape into endless scrolling.
✅ Track Your Time – For 2-3 days, note where your free time goes. Just being aware of when you slip into YouTube shorts will help.
