Typhon was created by Gaia and destined to overthrow the Olympians and usher in a new generation of monsters ruling the world.

He was made of a dozen different animals in massive forms. Snakes the size of canyons, wings as wide as a city, tails as long as entire rivers, etc.

He was able to singlehandedly defat Zeus and all the Olympians helping him for quite a while.
After his defeat, he could not be killed by the gods so he was instead trapped under a mountain. This mountain became a volcano soon after due to Typhon roaring and trying to break free.
