Luis morquio studied and worked at the University of The Republic, In montevideo, Uruguay.
James Fredrick Balisford was first discovered with morquio syndrome.
Luis morquio was the first person to describe the symptoms.
Where is it being researched?

When do the symptoms occur?
It start to cause and show up visibly on the bones and height differ.
They may occur whenn the baby reaches the age of 2 to 3 years old this is the age when the symptoms may be visable.
An example is in the hand, knees and other bones including the face structure and elbow.
Why does Morquio syndrome occur?
Deficiency in enzymes which causes there to be more of a chance to get and obtain Morquio syndrome
Mutations in the glans which affects chances with Morquio Syndrome.
Malfunctions in enzymes when born it may take up to 2-3 years to know that your baby has obtained Morquio syndrome.
How is Morquio syndrome compared to others.
Unlike other disorders it does not affect intelligence.
You usually are shorter than most people.
Causes hypermobiliy under different varieties of hyper activity.
What is morquio syndrome?
It is a rare genetic disorder that has causes to the body, It makes them shorter then the average person.
Causes the body to break down easily, with weak an unstable structure which causes them to be less athletic.
It is 1 in 200,000, so it is very unlikely to get Morquio syndrome but it is still very much possible.
