E coli is the most common bacteria cause as it has unique ability to colonise the urinary tract and kidneys
a combination of disrupted renal cell barriers and localized inflammation, cytokine release, clotting, and hypoxia contribute to renal scarring. Inflammatory cytokines, bacterial toxins, and other reactive processes lead to complete renal involvement (pyelonephritis)
common bacteria's causing the condition are (E coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, proteus, pseudomonas, enterococci, staphylococi)
