the result of this developement is a better exploitation of natural resources and mass production of manufactured goods
industrial expansion also had a dark side, it woesened the health of the working class and had a bad impact on the envirioment
the steam engine led to the invention of new machinery that made the creation of the Factory system and improvements in transport and comunication
use of steel, coal and iron led to strong technological innovations

the presence of large factories increased the migration from the fields to the towns and the close kint where workes lived were crumbling, had no sanitation and the risks of diases and infectios was very high
the revolution had enormous social effects
increased the gap between rich and poor. machines owner were getting richer but normal worchers always risked to be laid off
children had to work, usually they did the most difficult and dangerous jobs like the cimmony sweeper
in factories worked men, womwn and children toghether. (chidren= dangerous job like crawling under machines to clean)
the trade uonion movement: firs formo of modern unions. in 1818 they created the General Union of Trades in Manchesteror phylantropic society
small farmers left the country side to go to the big cityes whwr they couldnt follow the nature circle anymore
