Feet position: Facing towards where you want the ball to go. So, you are really square on and body faces forward.
Forehand Counter-hit
There are three factors that you need to know when you're learning and doing the forehand counter-hit. The first one is your feet position, the second is your start position and the third is your finish position
-
Starting position: Your starting position needs to be at hip height and next to you with the whole face of the bat facing towards where you want the ball to go.

If you want to play the ball faster all you have to do is speed up the stroke and get the bat from start to finish faster. If you want to slow the ball then slow the stroke.
