What did King Arthur do?
Arthur drew thec legendary sword Excaliber from the stone which made him the king of Britain. This caused dissagreements between other knights who were also competeing for king. Arthur, thith his mentor Merlin's help stopped the rebelion against him.

King Arthur creats his court at Camelot including the Knights of the Round Table. Later stories focus on individual knights.
There is an affair between Queen Guinevere and Sir Lancelot, one of the knights of the round table. This relationship breaks Arthur's heart.
Quest for the Holy Grail. Arthur and his Knights are tasked to find the cup used by Jesus during the Last Supper. Sir Galahad is the one who finds it earning the title of the greatest knight.
The Battle of Camlann. King Arthur battles with his knights against his son Mordred. Arthur is wounded and neither he nor Mordred survive. In some versions of the story King Arthur and Mordred fight together.
In some of the early versions of the story he defends his kingdom against many supernatural beings like dragons, giants, witches and more.
Who was King Arthur?

historians think he may be bassed on one or more British warriors who helped fight off the invading Saxons
legendary king in British folklore,
the king of Camelot (a city and castle) which worked as the capital of his kingdom
some historians sugest he may be linked to the Romans whose occupation of Britaion ended in around 400 AD
some of the earliest mentions of King Arthur are in historical reports on battle which gives credibilaty to the theory he was a real person, however in recent years people have begun to questioin these accounts
From historical records it is known that many of the events and characters from the Arthurian legend are fictional, as many as many prevelent features in the legends can be traced to the Historia Regum Britanniae a partly fictional acount of the kings of Britain written by Geoffrey Monmouth in the 12th century

NOTE: There are many stories and versions of the legend of King Arthur so it was dificult to find information from all the many versions of the story. Some versions of the storie also contaradict each other.
There is also great debate over whether King Arthur existed or not and since at the time that he may have lived there was poor record keeping there are many theories about him and his life.
