Audio - Coggle Diagram
Audio
Style
-
Orchestral
Good for games with a gothic or dark medieval theme as it fits in with the themes and music of the time.

-
Pace
Past Paced
Is great for fast paced gameplay as it fits the player's thought process in those moments, that being quick and reactive.
Slow Paced
Works well to build up to a climactic moment, where the audio could switch to fast paced.
Sound Effects
Sounds effects for elements of gameplay need to adequately reflect what they are triggered by. For example, a damage sound effect needs to make the player feel like they are in danger.
Sounds effects for common activities, especially UI elements, need to not get annoying over time as the player would hear them a lot. This could be done by making them short as to not give the player a larger rune to have repeated to them in memory.
Music
Boss Music
This needs to be impactful and memorable for the player as it would take place during a pivotal moment of the game.
