Sport Wales
They increase participation by having several different campaigns set up around Wales. The campaigns and initiatives target several different groups which means there is something out there for everyone.
One campaign I came across was The Canoe Wales Campaign which aims at getting woken on the water. 75 women took part in this many who had never met each other. “What was really interesting about the festival in May was to see that so many women were happy to turn up on their own because they knew it would be all women,” says Lydia.

Sport Conwy
The insport Club programme is part of the broader insport project, which aims to support the physical activity, sport, and leisure sectors delivering inclusively of disabled people. Disability Sport Wales know that the majority of adults get to experience great quality sport opportunity within a club environment, and that disabled people may not want to just play sport within a disability sport or impairment specific club or session.
Sport Wales has reallocated budgets to create a fund to help support clubs and not-for-profit organisations to protect their sport offer during the pandemic, and to prepare for their reopening.
The new grant fund will be called the Be Active Wales Fund and will be critical in supporting grassroots sport to survive the lock-down and thrive beyond the pandemic.
Sport Conwy is the voluntary forum for sports organisations in Conwy. Sport Conwy is the representative body of up to 80 affiliated sports clubs and organisations. Members are welcomed from the voluntary, private and public sector, thus creating a truly holistic approach to sport in Conwy. Affiliation is £30 per year.

Like Sport Wales, Sport England have many campaigns and initiatives set up to increase participation all around the country giving every group and identity a chance to get involved in sport.

As we adapt and rebuild from the huge disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we need to collectively reimagine how we keep movement, sport and activity central to the lives of everyone. Because if we harness its power, we’ll be able to improve people’s lives in so many ways.
We’re here to invest in sport and physical activity to make it a normal part of life for everyone in England, regardless of who you are.

FIFA made significant strides to bridge the disparities in football across the world in 2020. As well as investigating ways to broaden the globality of its tournaments by increasing participation in the FIFA World Cup™, FIFA Women’s World Cup™ and the FIFA Club World Cup™, FIFA has invested in the bases of sustainable development with a range of technical, talent and grassroots programmes at various stages of inception.
FIFA and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have joined forces to launch #ReachOut, a campaign designed to promote healthy lifestyles to help combat the symptoms of mental health conditions, and to encourage people to seek help when they need it
FIFA exists to govern football and to develop the game around the world. Since 2016, the organisation has been fast evolving into a body that can more effectively serve our game for the benefit of the entire world.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) helps to drive growth, enrich lives and promote Britain abroad. We protect and promote our cultural and artistic heritage and help businesses and communities to grow by investing in innovation and highlighting Britain as a fantastic place to visit.
They increase participation by ensuring that children start playing sport from a young age and carry on playing throughout their lives.
The UK government will invest around £60 million of underspend from the Birmingham 2022 budget in the West Midlands to enhance the legacy of the brilliant Commonwealth Games hosted earlier this year. The fund will aim to increase access to sport and culture, boost the West Midlands’s reputation as a world-class host for major events and drive inward investment and tourism.
