What is censorship? Internet censorship is the legal control or suppression of what can be accessed, published, or viewed on the Internet. Censorship is something that blocks something from being acknowledged. Either, seen, heard or read by humans.
How does it work? Most of the time, what is censored and what is not, is controlled by the government. An example of something in the modern day being censored is what the Russians know about the war against Ukraine. Putin and his men block certain information being displayed from other countries so that his own country doesn't find the truth and turn against him.

Censorship isn't nessicarily all bad. In hopefully most cases, censorship is actually there to protect you and make sure you don't see anything that could potentially frighten you.

PHISHING
What is phishing?
Phishing is a type of social engineering attack often used to steal user data, including login details and credit card numbers. A good example of phishing is when a user sends you an urgent email. If you open that email then all of a sudden they have access to your entire computer.
How to avoid being phished?
Never provide your personal information in response to an unsolicited request, whether it is over the phone or over the Internet. Emails and Internet pages created by phishers may look exactly like the real thing.

Online grooming is when someone uses the technology or the internet to build a relationship with a young person, with the intention of tricking, pressuring or forcing them into doing something sexual, like sending images or videos of themselves.

Predators tend to build up trust with the child first before asking personal questions or picture. Groomers can use social media, instant messaging apps (including teen dating apps) or online gaming platforms to connect with a young person or chilld.

How to avoid online predators?
If someone starts to act unusually flirt/friendly online, make sure you are careful when speaking to them. Never ever arrange to ,meet up with someone you met online, alone. Keep in mind that people are not always who they say they are.
CYBERBULLYING

1.Keep personal information personal. You don't want to trust anyone online with super secret information.

It is important to check because hackers often hackers attach a device with a camera and a scanner that scan your card info and use it without your permission. Also, when inserting your car and typing in your pin, cover our pin number wit your other hand just to be safe.

Hackers are online criminals who gain unauthorized access to a network and devices. Hackers main job is to steal personal information. Phishing and social engineering are one of the most common ways attackers steal important info. Posing as a trusted source (friends, family, familiar people), an attacker sends an email, text or a link on social media.
How to avoid being hacked? Thankfully, there are many ways to prevent your device from being hacked. Some examples are... Using firewall or antivirus software.
