rough ideas for 2D game
characters
you'll play as a frog office worker that uses their tongue to move around, it'll act as a kind of grappling hook.
background characters: dead colleges, a mysterious traveller in the background and mutant bug creatures moving subtly in the foreground.
location
starting on the ground by a house, traversing the 2D area and using their tongue to get over obstacles.
as you traverse the obstacle filled areas there will be a shift in scenery representing a shift in seasons and giving the feeling that this frog has been travelling for a long time where as in reality it's really not been long at all.
towards the end of the game it'll slowly become more worn down as you approach the main city, once there it'll turn to an apocalyptic wasteland , the game will finish once you arrive in the office entering the meeting to find a bunch of frog skeletons.
