Structure of WHO
194 members (all members of the UN except for Liechtenstein.
States become full members of WHO after ratifying the treaty called the Constitution of the World Health Organization.
WHO Director-General is elected by the WHO Member States for a five-year term. (Current Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus)
UN members can join the WHO by unilateral notification to the UN Secretary-General they accept the WHO constitution. Non-UN members are admitted if applications are approved by a majority vote of the World Health Organization
The World Health Assembly (WHA) is the decision-making body of WHO. Attended by all WHO Member States and focuses on a specific health agenda prepared by the Executive Board.

In 2015, there were 216 deaths per 100,000 live births (a drop of 44% from 1990)
Had a quick response to the Covid-19 pandemic and helped limit the spread of the virus
