Health promotion practice must propose and implement policies that invest in racialized communities and are divested from White supremacist systems.
Health promotion knowledge and action projects cannot be neutral.
Projects can uphold the current norms of pervasive and widespread racialized inequities
Projects can actively challenge racialized inequities.
Health promotion work should engage in a self-critiquing process and expand its practices. It should actively self-critique and examine its key conventions including the ways of working and the implications these have on societal understanding of race and racism.
