Social responsibility is highlighted through Scrooge's actions towards those trying to help the poor, his behaviour as an avaristic and cruel employer and his behaviour towards anyone who he should love
Scrooge soon takes actions to change his ways and eventually does take responsibility for his wrong doings and "sins"
