Statistical Analysis
Data today is collected everywhere, and can be used in a wide range of fields
ex: Statistical analysis is gaining fast pace in the sporting realm. Now, most big sporting organizations have data analytics teams to optimize the teams' performances.
Visualization of data is important for communicating what that data can tell us, and help us make business decisions
People can come up with different narratives even with the same data, as people's interpretations of data can be different

Those with power and authority decide what to do with statistical analysis. For example, some coaches of sports teams choose to largely ignore their statistical analysis departments, as they don't believe in data analysis.

It is important to assess these gaps in data when analyzing these narratives, as they may be a result of biases, or manipulation by those in power.
Because there are gaps in data, we will never be able to know the 100% truth about things that happened.
This is why we have to infer about the truth, and form narratives about what may have happened, because we do not have every single bit of data to confirm any truth.
