1834: New poor Law reforms Britain's social security system
In 1870 the Education Act supposed to open education to everybody/primary schooling became compulsary (1880)
Petition for women's vote in 1866 (they will only get the vote in 1918/29)
In 1857, the Matrimonial Act legalises divorce but is LIMITED, especially for women.
In 1880, the Married women's Property Act gives woment the right to own property/money.
Queen Victoria
