Random
Equal chances of being selected. A list of the target population is acquired and then participants are randomly selected.

Participants come to you, but a certain type of person will be more inclined to volunteer - less representative.

The composition of the sample reflects the proportions of people in certain sub-groups in the target population

Prediction of the findings. Precise and testable statement of the relationship between two variables
Simple Hypothesis
Basic hypothesis, not measurable or testable.
