Behaviour and Inclusion
a lead role in the management and delivery of behaviour, nurturing & inclusion interventions
for students.

Take a lead role, in conjunction with teaching staff, with the development and implementation of Individual
Education/behaviour Plans for students within the hive.

Support the school in managing the effective transfer/integration of students across phases and for those who
have been absent for behaviour, emotional & social related reasons.
Offer guidance to teachers in planning, evaluating and adjusting teaching & learning approaches to take account of
the behavioural needs of students within the hive.
Monitor and evaluate students’ responses and progress against action plans through lesson observation and
planned record keeping.
Provide objective and accurate feedback and reports as required, to other staff on students’ achievement, progress
and other matters, ensuring the availability of appropriate evidence.

Have responsibility for the development and implementation of appropriate behaviour management strategies.
Have a responsibility regarding the development, implementation and monitoring of systems relating to
attendance, behaviour and integration for those students within the hive
Use specialist knowledge and/or experience to be responsible for the preparation of plans, resources and
equipment to support students with behavioural needs
Actively seek information regarding, and utilise, the range of activities, courses, organisations and individuals to
provide support for students to more effectively manage their behaviour.
To take lead and take part in staff meetings, events and training as necessary

To assist the Lee, Chris & Kevin in the management and development of the school with a
focus on behaviour across all key stages
develop a student behaviour & inclusion hive within the school and manage the supervision of
students within that hive.
