Volunteer
Ramona's fibromyalgia took a toll on how she would be able to do activities based on her identities. She took her identity of loving dogs to volunteer at a dog shelter. She also later adopted a dog from the shelter that she volunteered from.

Fibromyalgia impacted her into believing that she would not be able to care for a dog, therefore she hesitated on whether she should adopt a dog or not.
Exerciser
From walking dogs at the shelter, she discovered an interest in exercising and how valuable it was to her. Her dog reminds her to exercise, she met a friend through this process.
