How can we increase our emotional intelligence?

so they could know what are the strength and the place that can be imporved
Make an understanding with yourself
Eg. I want to be a better listener
Therefore, everytime have a naturally occuring opportunity, i have to practice the skill
Practice
Pratice at every opportunity that comes along
After practice for 3-4 months, you can do the better thing without having to think about it
It proves that the brain has changed, have stronger connections
The changes stay with you for life

The better we get at what we need to improve on, the more these gender differences dissapear
How can we detect emotional intelligence in others?
Work simulation
A challenge to the person to handle a problem on the spot
Eg. To help 2 people settle disagreement
During interview
Ask someone to describe time they made terrible mistake
How they handle it and what they could have needed to be better at(Check their self awareness)
What are the key skill of successful leaders?
Need to understand the first responsibility of any leader( Lead themselves)
