Claim: The study concluded that red and blue colors are the best for enhancing cognitive skills and improving brain function. Red was much better than blue as far as detail-oriented tasks and memory retention were concerned, by as much as 31%
The researchers also concluded that when the teacher’s pen was red, symbolizing a stop sign and danger, it helped students avoid mistakes. Students invariably tended to pay careful attention to avoid wrong answers since red heightened their attention and made them more vigilant.
Color-coding is a dynamic method to memorize and remember the information that you need to learn. Color-coded notes are beneficial in revising and reviewing important information. Using bright colors helps you grasping your attention and going through points that are of priority. It is stimulating for visual learners.
Therefore, visual representations in the form of colour in note-making are helpful for visual learners to memorize the notes that they are making and they are able to grasp the knowledge.
From a scientific perspective, it’s been found that using relevant visuals help the audience remember the information more effectively.
Of all information transmitted to the brain, 90% is visual. Visuals are processed 60,000 times faster in the brain than text.

Colors in the red area of the color spectrum are known as warm colors and include red, orange, and yellow. These warm colors evoke emotions ranging from feelings of warmth and comfort to feelings of anger and hostility.
Colors on the blue side of the spectrum are known as cool colors and include blue, purple, and green. These colors are often described as calm, but can also call to mind feelings of sadness or indifference.
However, not everyone think colour coding is helpful in note making and may help them to memorize and understand better. This colour coding notes help visual learners the best.
Introduction
As the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words”; this is true when a story is told graphically, with a strong design, instead of verbally.
words and numbers can express values precisely, pictures or graphic representations have the power of allowing us to look for and highlighting patterns, trends, or exceptions among these values.

Visual representation is important if we want a quick sense of the story contained in these values, or if we need to compare whole sets and large amounts of values. Alpha numerical data, such as text in a table, are interpreted by our brains through the use of verbal processing.
Claim :Data visualizations are effective because they shift the balance between perception and cognition to take better advantage of the brain’s abilities. Visual perception, which is handled by the visual cortex located in the rear of the brain, is extremely fast and efficient.
Tree diagram a method of representing independent events or conditions related to an action, and it is often used to teach probability theory.
This type of diagram might be used to teach students about probability through coin flipping or through drawing from a deck of cards. It is considered a powerful method of teaching probability in math, and is a great example of a visual representation that is a diagram (Kolloffel, Eysink, de Jong, & Wilhelm, 2009).
other than that, tree diagram can also be seen in family tree
