- - - - Proton pump inhibitors represent a class of medications used to treat a wide variety of pathologies related to the stomach's acid production.
    - - The selective histamine type 2 receptor antagonists/blockers (H2 blockers) are widely used in the treatment of acid-peptic disease, including duodenal and gastric ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease and common heartburn.
    - - Antacids are medicines that counteract (neutralise) the acid in your stomach to relieve indigestion and heartburn. These drugs are a combination of various compounds with various salts of calcium, magnesium, and aluminum as active ingredients.
  - - - Avoid alcohol which lead to damage the superficial mucosa, increase gastric acid secretion
      - •Avoid spicy food (chili, pepper, black pepper) when it's inflammatory
      - •Avoid fatty foods (slow gastric emptying)
      - •Avoid coffee and caffeine -> increase gastric acid secretion and weaken the LES
      - •Increase consumption of omega 3 and omega 6 which is anti-inflammatory, immunonutrient, cytoprotective .
      - Avoid smoking, reduce stress, and change the meal lifestyle to small frequent meal
