Need to be checked for errors and accuracy, omissions(containing all the info they should be ), Clarity
(should be clear and avoid causing confusion)
Checking business documents - managers, solicitors, an agency, a proofreader
businesses need to ensure they have processes in place to check documents before they are released to the public to protect the image of business
Reprocorstions of not checking - Errors may be missed, affecting the reputation of the business, lead to possible delays, or the loss of customers and business opportunities.

Security protocols
Security protocols - passwords, firewalls, lockscreens, user policies, levels of security
Inappropriate use - illegal use of hardware, loss of info due to misuse, unauthorised installation
Computer misuse act put into place -1990, piece of law that deals with the crime of modifying data stored on a computer without the authorised use
Security protocols are procedures put in pace for the relation into appropriate and secure use of IT equipment
Consequences of misuse - waste of business time and money(viruses due to illegal downloads), lower productivity, possible lawsuits, fines due to the misuse of data
IT protocols should cover - inappropriate use, appropriate use
Employment protocols
Employment legislation - equal pay act, discrimination act, health and safety act, national minimum wage act
Equal opportunities - based on gender, religion, age, disability, pregnancy/maternity

Professional standards - be punctual, on time, follow the dress code, using appropriate language
