Neurons and Synapses
-
How it works
Synaptic Transfer
Messages can not be electrical to pass nerve to nerve, they have to become chemical
Action potential reaches axon terminal el Ca lo deja entrar y le llama un vesicles con neurotrasmitters para que se lo lleve.

Potentials...
Resting: nerve chilling y más negative adentro con K adentro y Na afuera de la cell. It has -70mV of charge
Action: nerve working, nerve is "firing"
Depolarisation: nerve become VERY positive charge, up to +30mV. Because Na enters cell.
-
Cell needs to go back to resting: Refractory Period gives nerve go back to -70mV. lo regresa a su estado chill arreglando la cantidad de Na y K adentro y afuera del nerve.
Threshold: charge required for action potential to happen. Cell has to reach -55 mV charge (it increases becuases of stimuli)
