Summary. Module 4 - Generic strategies and competitive advantage
The key take-away from module 4 for me is definitely the analysis on where a company is located in the competitive field compared to their competition. It is clear to me that for a company to be more succesful compared to competition is based on the companies strategy. The companies strategy defines their own market segment and how they relate/compete against others: how they situate themselves for example cost advantage or differentiation advantage. Differentiation advantages most important or significant part is in my opinion quality unless a unique product is protected by property rights. Analysis is also vital in this case as it is crucial to know where other companies situate and what their strategies are to make sure you dont get "stuck in the middle"
